Our team :
Executive Director
Caroline Vallières
Hello, my name is Caroline and I have the pleasure to lead a dynamic team who takes to heart improving the environment and the quality of life in the Peter-McGill district.
I am currently on maternity leave until March 2013. In the meantime, I have given Dana Pfeuty the responsibility to look over the ongoing work done at éco-quartier. Please contact him if you have any ideas for interesting environmental projects, or if you want to offer your time and/or energy by participating in our activities.

Let me remind you that you are always welcome to drop by our office at 1240 Rue St-Marc to better your waste management, to learn how to make your neighbourhood greener and more beautiful, or to learn about good environmental practices.

Project Manager Quartier 21
Allison Reid
My name is Allison and I coordinate the Quartier 21 project with the Éco-quartier Peter-McGill team. The Quartier 21 project is an experimental site for sustainable urban initiatives on a single block of our neighbourhood. The block is located between St-Marc St, St-Mathieu St, Ste-Catherine St and de Maisonneuve Blvd.
I initiate greening, urban agriculture, recycling, rain water filtration and composting projects to battle the urban heat island phenomenon… and I'm always looking for new ideas to implement on the block!

Marc-André Gagnon
Hello, my name is Marc-André and I am in charge of neighbourhood greening and composting for the Peter-McGill district. I manage many different projects such as greening tree boxes and green alleyways. I also offer consultation and landscape design services for residents or businesses interested in making their environment more beautiful.
I am also responsible for the smooth functioning of the community composters. If you would like to compost, we can work together to find the best option for you. I also offer composting and vermicomposting workshops to groups of residents and businesses alike.

4R Project Manager
Clara Charest-Marcotte
Hello, let me introduce myself: Clara Charest-Marcotte; 4R project manager.
For your information, 4R stands for: Reduce at the source, Reuse (maybe after some Repair!), Recycle and Re-think. The order of the first three is really important. Composting and herbi-recycling are included under Re-think because they are ways of rethinking how to manage our waste.
I am always more than happy to answer any of your questions, especially those on recycling, drop off locations of reusable materials, or how to get rid of dangerous domestic residues such as batteries, paint, and light bulbs…
If you notice any problems with uncleanliness in the neighbourhood, notify me so that I can do my best to reduce them by working in collaboration with my colleague in charge of neighbourhood greening.
I can also lead workshops, presentations and kiosks to inform residents, students, and employees on environmental issues so that they too can do their part for the environment. Please don`t be shy to ask for these services by contacting us via e-mail or by phone.

Marie-Anne Lemieux
Hello, my name is Marie-Anne and I am in charge of greening the ''Quartier 21'' project. Other than making the area more green and beautiful, this task also involves an urban agriculture component. If I can be of any help to you, it would be my pleasure to answer any of your questions on your garden!
